WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!
We went camping at Henry's Lake up in Idaho. My parents, Todd and Alynn, Elizabeth, Caroline and Louis, Rhett and Shantel, Kade and Ryker and Sid and Sparky and us all headed up! Henry's Lake is beatiful! We had a lot of fun. The first night we ate dinner and then sent the kids and older boys out to fish with no luck. The next day, the older boys went fishing with no luck then we ate breakfast, girls had pedicures, then we all headed to West Yellowstone for some shopping. When we got back to camp they went fishing again with no luck. That night are big plans were to have dutch oven dinner- BBQ ribs, Chicken strips, cheese-bacon potatoes, apple and berry cobbler. Yummy! Then the all mighty storm hit! We waited thinking it would just pass over, but it only got worse. We tried to salvage any of the dutch oven dinner that we could, but ended up with the ribs and chicken and some of the potatoes were done. Todd and Alynn's tent broke in half and the trailer my parents were staying in started leaking so at last my parents and Todd's family decided to head home. Us and the Chatelains ate what dinner there was and played games in the trailer! The next morning- we had a huge mess to clean up- and then we decided to head home. What a fishing trip!!!!- no fish! So we went home and then took all the kids to the fish hatchery for a guaranteed fish catch. They caught 8 fish and Brandon grilled them up for him and Paige while Conner and I ate Chick Fil-A. All in all it was a lot of fun, but a lot of work. Next time- WE ARE STAYING IN A HOTEL!!!!!

We went on a Disney Cruise and there was more fun and food then we could imagine. We got spoiled by all the food we could eat and try, along with being served hand and foot. Then we had to come home to the real world.

Happy Birthday to my baby boy!!! Conner turned 10 today and we celebrated at Chuck E. Cheese! The kids had lots of fun playing the games and trying to win as many tickets as possible so they could go over to the ticket counter and pick out a toy that costs $0.25- I love that!!! Really- though we had a blast. Conner got an i-touch from us so he is a happy boy! We love you Conner!

I, once again, forget that I have to update this blog. It would be so nice if it did it all by itself. Anyway, I have a funny Mother's Day story to tell you. A few weeks before Mother's Day, Paige found a folder full of pics. They are in the folder because I do not scrapbook and so I am waiting for them to scrapbook themselves! Paige asked me if she could use some of the pics- I said yes. On Mother's Day- I was given a purse made out of scrapbooking paper- so cute! There was a pic on the front of us as a family. When I opened the purse up it said, "Mom, even though I am growing up, I will still always be your little girl". At the bottom was 3 pics. One was a pic of my neice, Elizabeth at the age of around 18 months and then Paige at the age of 5 and then a pic of my other neice Azlin at the age of around 2 months. So I say, "Paige, why did you put Elizabeth and Azlin in here?" She says, "What, those aren't me?"
I laughed so hard. Isn't that the cutest thing ever? It seems like every Mother's Day I am given something with humor- couldn't get any better than that!!!

WOW! Paige turned 12 years old! I cannot believe it- she is now a young woman! We took her to Color Me Mine for her birthday party. It's on 25th street and you get to pick out your own pottery and then paint it. They even made a plate for her with her hand print and then each girl signed the back of the plate. They all had a blast! She graduated from Primary and start Young Womens this last Sunday. She earned her Faith in God award before leaving primary- congratulations, Paige! Boy does time go by fast! Before you know it, she'll be married and out of the house (not that were counting or anything :)

On Christmas Eve we went to the in-laws. Pam has a lot of different costumes the kids can dress up in. The adults were all sitting upstairs and we hear all of the kids laughing so hard- then up comes my baby boy! So cute! (he looks like Paige)

It is now the new year and goals should be made, but honestly I don't know what I want my "goals" to be. What I want is a wonderful year, full of fun and well behaved kids! I guess I should try to eat less sweets- but I don't see that happening! I really hope this year brings us happiness and health (wealth wouldn't be bad either)! May all of you have the kind of year that you hope for. Bring it on, 2010!
Here are some Christmas pics. We had a wonderful Christmas- got everything we wanted, spent lots of time with family and friends, ate a lot of treats and took plenty of naps!!!
